Regulars Game October 25th - 1 game (100 points)

In a complete and utter disgrace as a Regular. Gerald N. had to re-buy 86 times and somehow managed to build his stack and play bully for most of the night. Gerald takes back a firm grip on "The Rock" and was quoted as saying "Ya'll fools can't touch this!"

Good job G-Man!

3. David N. - 15 Points

The Charlie/Adam Debacle

After doing further research to help clarify what happened earlier tonight. The situation arose, where Charlie being a complete dumbass didn't realize that the turn was not the river. In doing so told everyone and God what he had. While he did state what he had, he however did not expose his cards (And very well could have been lying). Adam then called, like the donkey he is, with this moderate low pair club draw. The river drew a blank and both checked. Adam rolled over his 6 high club flush, Charlie rolled over the winning Jack high club flush. Adam, in desperation and anger, stated that Charlie's hand should be ruled dead because this same situation happened to him a long time ago, in which he couldn't state who beat him and which no one could remember ever happening. Charlie laughed and made fun of Adam threatening to post it on the website. Adam then flipped Charlie off, which you can view below.

So who is right? Did Adam have a gripe? Well... Yes and No.... While Charlie did state what he had, which is a violation of Rule 59 of the WSOP 2009 Rules for Poker. The rule states that "Players are obligated to protect the other players in the tournaments at all times whether in a hand or not, players may not a.)Disclose contents of live or folded hands, b.)Advise or criticize play before the action is completed, or c.) Read a hand that hasn't been tabled. BLAH BLAH BLAH... Players who violate this rule are subject to penalty in accordance with Rules 31, 53, and 54." What those rules state are that "In its sole and absolute discretion, Harrah's MAY impose penalties ranging from a verbal warning, one missed hand away from the table up to disqualification and expulsion from all Harrah's casino properties."

What does that mean for us? Not much.... But what can we do to correct the situation? While Charlie did state what he had, he did not do it with malice intent. He wasn't trying to deceive or collude with Adam. He is just a dumbass. Not worthy of punishment. Although, Adam in his anger of playing badly and being upset about getting schooled by Charlie did violate Rule 30 sections A, B, C, D, & E, and more specifically Rule 36 when he flipped Charlie off. The rule states "Harrah's prohibits the use of obscene or foul language in any area of the casino at any time. ANY PLAYER WHO USES LANGUAGE OR MAKES A FOUL, PROFANE, OBSCENE, OR VULGAR STATEMENT, OR SPEAKS ABUSIVELY OR IN AN INTIMIDATING MANNER TO ANOTHER PLAYER WILL BE PENALIZED." Quick to point out the splinter in my hand, but not the wood plank in your own eye, huh Adam......

In conclusion. We just have to set up house rules as with the "Kent exposed hand episode(s)". Which, by the way, is not against WSOP rules. Rule 52: Your hand isn't ruled dead, but you will suffer a penalty beginning the next hand. Check it out. There will be a link at the bottom of the page for the rules. I say that if it isn't intitinal, then no penalty should be assessed. It is obviously a case by case issue.

In essence... I'm right... Adam won..... You suck.
